Last night I was laying on the couch watching TV and Sam was moving around, as usual, for her after dinner Olympics. I had my hand on my stomach and for the first time, boy, I am SURE that I felt her moving not only inside, but outside too. I mean, really strong this time. I made Mark come over to see if he could feel it too or I was imagining things. Nope, not imagining things. He told me he felt her right at the time I know I felt her move inside. It is such an incredible feeling – yet weird too. At least I know she’s strong and healthy. I can’t wait to go to my Level II ultrasound on Thursday so I can find out how big she is!

Pam and I have two lifelong passions that we share: a love of animals and a love of music. They say a baby can start hearing around week 18. We just hit 19 weeks so we assume little Sam can hear us now. It’s a little early to introduce her to our cats but we are not wasting any time sharing our love of music with her! Today we went out to dinner with my family to celebrate my upcoming birthday and I got some new vinyl to spin so we starting with these. I thought it would be cool to catalog some of the records we listen to so she can see it one day. Tonight we listened to Sarah Vaughan "Sassy", John Coltrane "Giant Steps", and Count Basie "Count Basie and the Kansas City 7".
